Somerset in Care Council (SiCC)

We are a group of young people in care, both those who live with foster parents and in residential centres.  We aim to meet together regularly and represent all young people in care as best as we can.  We want to find out what is important to you, what are the good things about being in care and what are not so good.  We will then tell the Corporate Parents (County Councillors) and Senior Managers in Children's Social Care - together our voice can make changes.

The meetings are arranged by Christine and Kirstie.  Christine works for Children's Social Care, and Kirstie works for the Youth Service.  If you want to know more or may want to join us please contact Christine by e-mail on CHindle@somerset.gov.uk.
