The Annual Achievement Awards took place on 1 July 2010 and Award winners were celebrated at an event at the Canalside Conference Centre in Bridgwater.  A taiko drumming band performed (Kagemusha Taiko from Exeter), and a magician performed some unbelievable tricks and made balloon animals.  Winners each received a £15 voucher and certificate for all their hard work. 

Somerset in Care Council met recently and looked at a draft leaflet about annual health assessments, and why it's important we all have one.  It's being changed a little, but should be ready soon.
