Welcome to the 'Looked After Somerset' website

This site provides lots of information and advice for children and young people who are in care in Somerset.  

It will explain what might happen to you, provide information about the people that can help and support you, inform you of your rights, give information about your education, health and the support available to you when you leave care. 

Check out our FAQs section for quick answers to many of the questions that young people coming in to care have.  We also have a useful links section with access to lots of websites which can help you  stay safe, be healthy, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic wellbeing (these are the 'five outcomes' chosen by the Government).
